Music

Students (K-5) enjoy weekly music time. They learn patriotic songs, seasonal songs, hymns and Bible-based choruses. The students have sung for various groups around Albemarle including nursing homes and civic organizations.

Joy Sticks and Sign Language

The older students (6-8) interpret songs using sticks, sign language, or other items. These performances are shared with parents and students in special assemblies or at seasonal programs.

Students (6-8) are instructed in flag etiquette and raise and lower the flag daily (weather permitting).

On Monday mornings, the staff and students start the week off with a Praise and Worship assembly. This is a wonderful time when we can worship God and praise Him as a school for His faithfulness and goodness to us. We also recognize weekly birthdays at this assembly.
